Bubble Point Tester and Syringe Filters

Filters used to sterilize pharmaceutical fluids must be approved for human-use and be pyrogen free with anominal pore size of 0.2µ or 0.22µ. Filter integrity testing is also required following the sterilizing process. The Bubble Point test is designed to show that consistent flow of air will not occur through the filter prior to the manufacturer's listed "bubble point." The PG005 performs this filter integrity testing.
